Find out how you can manage your Bank First Visa Card, update your PIN or order a replacement.

Did you know you can replace your cards using the Bank First App?

Simply login to report your card stolen or lost, order a new card, or put a temporary lock on your card.

Change your PIN in Internet Banking

    1. Login to Internet Banking.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Select Card PIN.

    4. Select your card.

    5. Click on the keypad tool to select and confirm your PIN.

    6. Click Get SMS One time password button and enter password you receive via SMS.

    7. Click Submit button.

    8. You will receive confirmation of the PIN change pop up on screen.

    Note: Keep your PIN secret. Avoid using a PIN that contains repeated characters (e.g. 1111) or digits in sequence (e.g.1234). Also avoid using numbers that are based on discoverable information e.g. a birthday, licence number, postcode or telephone number.

    You can choose to have a PIN with more than 4 digits; however some countries and companies only accept 4 digit PIN numbers. If you have a longer PIN, some of your transactions may not be successful.

  • No. You do not need to know your existing PIN to select a new one.

  • No. Changing your card PIN online is free of charge.

  • You will not be able to receive a One Time Password when using an international mobile number. You may be able to receive SMS to an Australian number while overseas; check with your mobile phone provider to confirm availability and cost.

    Otherwise, please contact us. 

    1. Login to the Bank First App.

    2. Select the hamburger menu in the top left of screen.

    3. Select Settings.

    4. Select your App Settings.

    5. Scroll down, and select App login - PIN, Pattern or Member ID.

    6. Confirm your existing PIN.

    7. Choose a security option ie PIN, Pattern or Member Number.

    8. Enter your new PIN.

    9. Re-enter your new PIN to confirm.

    10. You will receive confirmation of the PIN change pop up on screen.

You have a card but it is not listed in the dropdown box for Card PIN Select. If your card does not appear in the list please contact us.

Card Security and Replacements

    1. Login to the Bank First App.

    2. Select Cards.

    3. Swipe to find your Card.

    4. Tap on Lock Card.

    A success message will appear confirming your card will be locked from all purchases and withdrawals.

    This feature temporarily locks your card so no further transactions can occur while you are looking for your card. 

  • You cannot lock your card via Internet Banking, however you can via our Bank First App:

    1. Login to the Bank First App

    2. Select Cards

    3. Swipe to find your Card

    4. Select Need help with your card?

    5. Select Lost your card?

    6. Select if you would like a replacement card

    7. Your card will be stopped immediately

     

  • You cannot lock your card via Internet Banking, however you can via our Bank First App:

    2. Select Cards

    3. Swipe to find your Card

    4. Select Need help with your card?

    5. Select Card been stolen?

    6. Select if you would like a replacement card

    7. Your card will be stopped immediately

    6. Confirm you’d like to receive a replacement card
