You've heard of pre-loved books? Well, the readers at this school are so pre-loved that they're literally falling apart. 

This TIP grant will replace three sets of readers which will be touched by students in every grade of the school. 

Decodable Readers are for students at the beginning of their reading journey and set children up with the skills they need to be highly literate, life-long word learners.

Literature Circle Books will be refreshed. These books promote deep and meaningful discussions for middle to senior students.

Mentor Texts will be replaced. These are books for teachers to read to the class and to use when teaching.

It will be such a joy to see students having access to quality texts! No longer falling apart books which are outdated - but which represent a variety of perspectives, genres and writing styles.

We know how important reading is for our young people and this grant will help us help them grow their reading ability and have fun doing it.
