Mickleham Primary School
Mickleham Primary School will purchase two 3D printers for use across upper primary levels and beyond, embedding them into the school’s STEM and mathematics programs. The goal is to create dynamic, hands-on learning experiences where students apply mathematical concepts and STEM problem-solving skills through the creation of tangible models, prototypes, and real-world solutions.
The use of 3D printers will allow students’ innovative designs to come to life. This project aims to embed deep mathematical knowledge and skills while re-engaging students who have become disengaged from traditional learning methods.
This initiative will serve as a vital resource for transforming mathematics and STEM from abstract ideas into practical, applied learning. It will open pathways for curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking‚ preparing students for a future where innovation and adaptability are essential.
